The best place to keep all your stationery or small items is this YKRA pencil case. You can even match it with your YKRA backpack.
YKRA teamed up with Budapest-based graphic designer Ivett Lénárt for their 2024 limited edition print, Flying Flock, which features endangered birds on the verge of extinction. It was inspired by Ivett’s diploma project from 2018, a beautiful book entitled "Life Under the Northern Lights” which introduces you to 35 creatures living and extinct. Her diploma project was influenced by her Erasmus studies in Iceland.
Ivett chose 17 bird species from all over the world that were close to her heart, and featured on the International Union for Conservation of Nature Red List of Threatened Species, also known as the IUCN Red List or Red Data Book, founded in 1964 which is an inventory of the global conservation status and extinction risk of biological species.
The collection was silkscreen printed, made by hand in Hungary, and is available in limited quantities. Her favourite birds on the pattern? The Common Loon and the Puffin.
YKRA uses thick "duck" OEKO-TEX® 100 STANDARD certified cotton canvas made from 100% cotton woven in the Czech Republic. It's dyed using eco-friendly dyes. The designs are limited edition collections created with a traditional fabric printer to silkscreen print the whole fabric and as a result, no two products are alike.
